Meet the friendly and experienced Doctors of Optometry who make Chesterfield Optometric Center the leading provider of vision care and services in Chesterfield.
Dr. Cristy DeHoff graduated from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Chemistry. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. DeHoff is licensed and therapeutic certified to treat eye diseases by the Virginia Board of Optometry. Dr. DeHoff is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the Richmond Optometric Society. She has been the Richmond area Regional Administrator for Vision Source since 2009. Dr. DeHoff is a Richmond native and resides in Chesterfield County with her two daughters. She enjoys traveling, wine tasting, reading, and spending time with her family and 2 dogs (Lola and Mavis)!
Dr. Jessica Stacy graduated from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Biology; Cum Laude. She received her Doctorate in Optometry with Cum Laude honors from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee with training at Mercy Children’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Stacy is licensed and therapeutic certified to treat eye diseases including lid injections by the Virginia Board of Optometry. Dr. Stacy is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association and the Richmond Optometric Society. She is also an active InfantSEE provider and practices with an emphasis on pediatric eye care. Dr. Stacy resides in Midlothian with her husband and son. In her spare time she loves St.Louis Cardinals baseball, boston terriers, wineries and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Dr. Lisa Vanderpool graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Biology, Cum Laude. She received her doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she also graduated Cum Laude. Following graduation, she completed a year-long post-doctoral residency program in Primary Eye Care at The Eye Center, also in Memphis, TN. Dr. Vanderpool is licensed and therapeutic certified to treat eye diseases by the Virginia Board of Optometry. She has presented several optometric lectures and posters and is an active member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Vanderpool is a Richmond native and resides in Midlothian with her husband and their beloved dog, Penny. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, crafting and traveling.
Dr. Marissa Albert graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnston in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, with Magna Cum Laude honors in a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctorate in Optometry with Cum Laude honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. She was awarded with clinical honors in her disease, contact lens, hospital and low vision rotations and cited by the Faculty of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry for Clinical Excellence in the Low Vision Internship at the Eye Institute. Dr. Albert is licensed and therapeutic certified to treat eye diseases by the Virginia Board of Optometry. Dr. Albert is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Albert resides in downtown Richmond. In her spare time, she loves eating oysters, being active outdoors, playing board games, and spending time with her friends, family, and cat, Ginny.
Dr. Ryder Elder graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences, Cum Laude. He received his Doctorate of Optometry with Magna Cum Laude honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. He was awarded the Blanchard Contact Lens Excellence Award during his internal rotation at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and received clinical honors at each of his four external rotations. Dr. Elder is licensed and therapeutic certified to treat eye diseases by the Virginia Board of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Elder is a Chesterfield native, and resides in Richmond with his fiancé. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, reading, and rooting for the New York Yankees.
